Membership is open to full, associate and supporting members. There is also a category of founding members, which have the same rights as full members. To become a member of eument-net, a registration on the eument-net platform is necessary.
Full members can be administration, authority, or another legal entity running a mentoring programme promoting women in academia or research, which fulfil the eument-net quality standards, and who recognize the aims of the association. The annual membership fee is €50.
Associate members can be individuals, administrations, or legal entities who recognize the purpose of the association and are ready to promote it and who either consider setting up a mentoring programme promoting women in academia or research, or have specific scientific or professional expertise related to the aim of the Association. The annual membership fee is €40.
Supporting members can be individuals, public administrations and authorities, as well as legal entities which recognize the purpose of the association.

eument-net is conditional full member of the European platform for women in science (epws).
eument-net has started as a FP6 project, from January 2007 to September 2008, conducted by a consortium of five partners from Austria, Bulgaria, Germany and Switzerland, supported by an advisory board.
